Role Description: The Legal Assistant/ Paralegal will provide comprehensive support to attorneys in a full-time, on-site role located in Boise, ID. Daily responsibilities include preparing, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence in accordance with court rules and internal standards. The role involves conducting legal and factual research, organizing case files, and managing document production and review. The Legal Assistant/ Paralegal will maintain calendars, track deadlines, assist with filings, and coordinate communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. This position also supports case preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials by organizing exhibits, summaries, and related materials. Qualifications

  • Foundational knowledge of law and legal procedures, with experience in personal injury/medical malpractice litigation is a plus. (Preferably 2+ years' experience).
  • Proficiency in legal document preparation, including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence, with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in research and document review, including organizing, analyzing, and summarizing case materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, courts, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with legal practice software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of how to file in federal and district courts.
