Job Summary
The Inside Parts Sales Representative supports aftermarket parts growth by handling customer inquiries, identifying parts, preparing quotes, entering orders, managing follow-up, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. This role is responsible for delivering a strong customer experience while supporting revenue growth, pricing discipline, and repeat business across assigned accounts and incoming demand.
Core Duties
- Respond to inbound parts inquiries by phone, email, and web channels.
- Identify correct parts and provide accurate quotes.
- Enter and manage orders through completion.
- Communicate pricing, availability, lead times, and substitutions.
- Follow up on quotes, open orders, and backorders.
- Resolve parts, pricing, and system discrepancies.
- Coordinate with service, purchasing, and operations.
- Support customer retention and repeat sales growth.
Qualifications
- Experience in parts sales, inside sales, or industrial customer support.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort with part identification.
- ERP/CRM/system proficiency preferred.
- Aftermarket, truck equipment, or fluid power experience preferred.
