Job Summary

The Inside Parts Sales Representative supports aftermarket parts growth by handling customer inquiries, identifying parts, preparing quotes, entering orders, managing follow-up, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment. This role is responsible for delivering a strong customer experience while supporting revenue growth, pricing discipline, and repeat business across assigned accounts and incoming demand.

Core Duties

  • Respond to inbound parts inquiries by phone, email, and web channels.
  • Identify correct parts and provide accurate quotes.
  • Enter and manage orders through completion.
  • Communicate pricing, availability, lead times, and substitutions.
  • Follow up on quotes, open orders, and backorders.
  • Resolve parts, pricing, and system discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with service, purchasing, and operations.
  • Support customer retention and repeat sales growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in parts sales, inside sales, or industrial customer support.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with part identification.
  • ERP/CRM/system proficiency preferred.
  • Aftermarket, truck equipment, or fluid power experience preferred.
