Primary Purpose

This position leads development of integrated plans and performs complex modeling to evaluate strategic options. It also provides insights that guide prioritization of initiatives and resource allocation across business units.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leads development of integrated strategic plans across multiple business units.
  • Conducts complex scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
  • Evaluates competitive positioning and recommends strategic actions.
  • Identifies emerging trends and assesses implications for organizational strategy.
  • Provides guidance on prioritization of strategic initiatives.
  • Supports implementation planning for approved strategies.
  • Collaborates with finance to validate assumptions and forecasts.
  • Prepares executive-level presentations and briefing materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Experience

  • Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
  • Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.

  • Commercial Negotiation - The planning, reviewing, analysis and other activities that a buyer and seller conduct to reach an agreement.
  • Project Management - The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
  • Market Analysis - Analyzing competing products, services, and organizations in the external business environment.
  • Relationship Management - Activities undertaken to improve business relationships.
  • Financial Modeling and Valuation - Designing mathematical models and analyzing data to estimate the financial performance and value of a company or investment, involves analyzing historical financial data, projecting future scenarios, and applying valuation methods to determine fair value.
  • Investment Due Diligence - The process of extensive and intensive research to evaluate an investment decision, considering all possibilities and verifying the information used it involves looking into the background, financial history, and details of an asset.
