Senior Economic Analyst

  • Conduct advanced economic and trade research related to international markets, industries, and policy developments.
  • Analyze macroeconomic indicators, trade flows, tariffs, sanctions, and regulatory changes affecting global commerce.
  • Develop economic forecasts, market outlooks, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and client-facing deliverables.
  • Monitor global economic developments and identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Support business development efforts through thought leadership and market intelligence.
  • Present findings to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on consulting engagements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics, International Economics, International Trade, Public Policy, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in economic analysis, trade consulting, economic research, government, international organizations, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of international trade policy, global markets, and economic forecasting.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Experience with statistical and analytical software such as R, Python, Stata, EViews, SAS, or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality research and client-facing reports.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
