Akkodis is seeking a Logistics Specialist for a 6 months Contract position with a client located in Tulsa OK (Hybrid - 3 Days onsite & 2 Days Remote)

Pay Range: $35-39.78/hr on W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

A contract resource is required to provide immediate support with a primary focus on Expediting and Logistics (Shipping)

This role supports timely movement of materials, documentation, and project information to help meet project milestones, expediting, shipping requirements and customer deadlines.

May require a bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

The position requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail and the ability to work cross-functionally with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Document Control, Quality, Suppliers, Logistics and customers as needed.

Some experience in Logistics and/or Expediting is preferred to support shipment coordination, supplier follow-up, schedule tracking and overall project execution.
