THE OPPORTUNITY

Mitchell Anthony Capital Management ("MACM"), an

Irvine-based Wealth Management firm, is seeking an experienced Investment

Analyst / Portfolio Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play

a key role in investment research, portfolio management, client service, and

wealth advisory activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience within the wealth management or investment management industry and be familiar with portfolio management and reporting platforms such as Orion, Tamarac, Advent Axys, or similar systems. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, a passion for beating the bogey, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

MACM is an independent Registered Investment Advisor with approximately $425 million in assets under management and a long-term track record of investment performance that has outperformed the S&P 500 over the past decade.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Investment Analyst / Portfolio Manager will support the firm's investment management and wealth advisory activities through security analysis, portfolio monitoring, investment research, and client relationship support.

The successful candidate will assist in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting fundamental research, monitoring portfolio holdings, preparing investment commentary, and supporting portfolio construction decisions. The role will also participate in client meetings, performance reporting, and implementation of investment strategies.

This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of portfolio management within an independent Registered Investment Advisor and provides a unique opportunity to work directly with senior leadership in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a passion for investing, excellent communication abilities, and the desire to grow into a senior investment management role.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

and financial markets.

Experience with portfolio management and reporting platforms such as Orion, Tamarac, Advent Axys, or similar industry software is preferred. The candidate should be a self-starter who is excited about the opportunity to grow alongside a successful and expanding investment management firm.

The ideal individual will be detail-oriented, thoughtful, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of accuracy. They should demonstrate sound judgment, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS IN BRIEF

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field

• 3+ years of experience in investment research, portfolio management, wealth management, portfolio administration, or a related field

• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment analysis, and portfolio management principles

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong overall technology skills

• Experience with portfolio management and reporting systems such as Orion, Tamarac, Advent Axys, or similar industry platforms preferred

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a small-team, entrepreneurial environment

• Demonstrated interest in investing, security analysis, and capital markets
