Construction Worker Full Time

Location: Springfield, MA

Pay Range: $20-22/hour

ServiceNet, a leading Human Services agency, is looking for a dedicated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team to work on renovations and repairs in our group residential homes throughout the region. Common jobs include, rebuilding exterior decks and porches, renovating bathrooms and kitchens, replacing flooring, painting and finishing.

Job Overview

ServiceNet's Construction Workers work alongside and provide assistance to the Renovations crew and the Construction Supervisor on construction, repair, and renovations projects at ServiceNet properties throughout Western Massachusetts. This is a full-time and all year job. Our Construction team assists maintenance team when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform work as directed by construction project manager and construction supervisor.
  • Perform construction and repair tasks as instructed.
  • Protect furniture, floors, and sometimes trim with tarps and masking tape to prevent damage during construction and painting.
  • Work safely with various painting equipment and materials, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Coordinate with construction project manager, construction supervisor, and assistant construction supervisor for jobsite tasks.
  • Able to work as a team with ServiceNet's Renovations crew and Maintenance department.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience with carpentry, framing, trim, sheetrock, painting, and flooring preferred.
  • Employee must be able to lift 50-100 pounds.
  • High school diploma or GED
