Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; rotating weekends and holidays. Clinic hours are 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Monday–Friday and 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Saturday–Sunday.
Compensation: $60–$80/hour, based on experience, plus bonus opportunity

Position Summary
NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Arvada, Colorado team.
This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, variety, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast-paced, well-supported urgent care environment. You will care for patients of all ages, manage a broad range of generally low-acuity acute concerns, and work alongside an experienced clinical team with accessible medical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
- Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational-health visits
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
- Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and incision and drainage, as applicable
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
- Code and bill services appropriately
- Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
- Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Colorado license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- PA: NCCPA certification
- NP: ANCC or AANP certification; FNP required
- Active DEA license or ability to obtain
- Ability to treat patients of all ages
- Active BLS certification
- EHR proficiency
- Willingness to work rotating weekends and holidays
- DOT certification or willingness to obtain; fees covered
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience
- Strong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, and wound care
- Experience with initial x-ray interpretation before radiology over-read
- Comfortable working independently in a solo-provider model, with support available as needed
