Contract Duration: 5 Months

We are seeking a motivated Product Scientist to support innovation, product development, and quality improvement initiatives within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a strong technical foundation in food science, engineering, or related disciplines who are eager to contribute to the development of market-leading products.

Key Responsibilities

Support product innovation, renovation, and continuous improvement projects

Develop and evaluate benchtop samples to support product development activities

Assist with ingredient and sample shipping, receiving, and inventory management

Participate in cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges

Analyze technical data, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations

Develop and maintain process specifications to ensure consistent product quality across manufacturing facilities

Support quality improvement initiatives, business continuity planning (BCP), margin enhancement projects, and manufacturing performance improvements

Document findings and communicate technical information effectively through reports and presentations

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline

1–3 years of experience in food, consumer products, manufacturing, or a related field

Strong technical aptitude with a passion for product development and innovation

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience interpreting technical data and drawing meaningful conclusions

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of food science, product development, or consumer packaged goods (CPG)

• Strong organizational and project management abilities

• Technical curiosity and a proactive approach to identifying solutions
