Pluton Resource Intelligence

Founding Chief Commercial Officer

Pluton Resource Intelligence · Founding role · Remote (US) · Cofounder-level equity

About Pluton: Pluton is building a closed-loop probabilistic command system for mineral exploration; autonomous aerial and ground sensing feeding a Bayesian belief engine that decides where to look next under deep uncertainty, and updates as new data arrives. It's the first system of its kind in the mining industry. We're turning the search for critical minerals from intuition and guesswork into a sequential, evidence-driven process.

Critical minerals are one of the defining strategic contests of the decade, and exploration is the bottleneck. We have a deep technical founding team, real commercial traction, and international clients eager to deploy. What we need now is the person who turns that into capital and customers.

The role: We're looking for a founding commercial leader to own the commercial pillar of the company alongside the CEO. Your technical cofounders own geospatial, software, and robotics. You'd own the half that turns the technology into capital and customers, and it's the lifeblood of the company at this stage.

This is a founding seat, not a hire. You'd partner directly with the CEO, and your scope is:

- Capital: Own and drive the raise: accelerators, investor pipeline, SAFE structuring, the materials and the narrative, in close partnership with the CEO. Getting us funded is priority one.

- Domestic commercial. Originate and land a US testing pilot, and build the domestic pipeline from the ground up.

- Commercial strategy. Pricing, packaging, sequencing — plus support on our international (Gulf) pipeline, where deals are already moving.

- The commercial system. Build the repeatable motion: materials, process, and follow-through that a company this stage runs on.

Who you are

- You raise. You've run or driven a raise: investor pipelines, accelerators, SAFEs or notes, the story money says yes to. Capital formation is where this seat lives first.

- You originate. You manufacture pipeline from nothing. You've personally sourced and closed, built outbound from zero, and you don't wait for inbound — applied to investors and customers alike.

- You carry weight. Senior enough to be taken seriously by investors and enterprise counterparties, and you operate like a founder, not an employee, high agency, no playbook, comfortable in ambiguity and intensity.

- Mining, energy, or frontier-market experience is a real plus, not a requirement.

Where we are: Pre-seed, with real commercial momentum: a signed pilot with a Gulf mining operator on a producing gold asset and a path to a joint venture, a second pilot in contracting, and an institutional package under review. We're building toward a first-round close by end of 2026, scaling toward a targeted priced seed round in 2027.

Compensation: This is a founding role, not an employee role. Cofounder-level equity at the founding tier. Equity-forward: little to no cash at the start, cash compensation as revenue and funding arrive, market salary after the round closes. This structure is a filter as much as a fact — most strong people pass not on belief but because their personal runway can't make the bridge work, and that's the honest thing to understand up front. If you're in a position to build before you're paid, the upside is a founding stake in the commercial core of the company.

How to apply: Apply here on LinkedIn with your resume or profile, and email a note directly to ***email_hidden*** on why this problem and this stage pull you, and the single clearest example you have of capital you've helped raise or a deal you've originated and closed. The note matters as much as the resume.
