Astroscale U.S. is currently seeking a Part-Time, Temporary Internal Communications Specialist to join our team, reporting to our SVP, Marketing & Communications.
Job Description
- Manage and help develop internal communications initiatives that keep employees informed and engaged with company goals, priorities, and activities.
- Identify and leverage opportunities to promote organizational initiatives, achievements, and key messages through internal communication channels.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute employee-facing events, including quarterly all-hands meetings.
- Create and distribute internal newsletters, intranet content, employee announcements, and other communications materials.
- Support initiatives that foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and open communication across the organization.
- Ensure communications are delivered in a clear, concise, and engaging manner tailored to diverse employee audiences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- At least one year of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, public relations, or a related role.
- Demonstrated experience supporting employee communications and engagement initiatives.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to translate complex or technical information into clear, accessible messaging for a variety of audiences.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint.
Preferred
- Experience supporting communications within a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or aerospace environment.
- Familiarity with employee engagement programs, event communications, and intranet content management.

- Pay Range: $35-40/hour
- Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20–25 hours per week; flexible based on business needs)
