About The Role

The Production Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day production of service center activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in manufacturing or service processes. This role supervises teams, coordinates resources, and supports continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of 8-10 Welders, Machinist, Mechanics, and Shipping/Receiving employees to ensure adherence to project schedules.
  • Monitor production or service metrics and implement improvements (5S, Six Sigma).
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO).
  • Coordinate with maintenance and logistics to support operations.
  • Train and develop team members.
  • Support implementation of lean manufacturing practices.
  • Report performance and issues to senior management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree preferred (equivalent work experience will be considered)
  • 6+ years of experience managing and coordinating one or more expert-level teams.
  • Experience in manufacturing or production management.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with lean tools and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in production software and reporting tools.
  • Effective communication and team-building abilities.
