Job Summary
This position supports our offices in Duval, Nassau, Pasco & Pinellas counties. Daily responsibilities include: researching and identifying grant opportunities, acquiring, and compiling data, completing, and submitting grant applications, maintaining grant data and providing status updates/reporting to internal and external customers as required and ensures compliance with grant responsibilities and accountabilities. Occasional travel required between offices in Northeast Florida and Suncoast Florida.
Essential Duties
- Actively research and identify grant opportunities and other similar funding sources.
- Create, monitor, and refine systems to track grant opportunities and submissions.
- Coordinate with appropriate staff to determine and confirm which grants to pursue then initiate and complete the grant application process.
- Manage data collection and reporting systems for acquired grants; prepare timelines and status reports. Maintain grant and program records.
- Ensure responsiveness to grantor/compliance with scope of grant. Assure performance of grant implementation. Act as liaison with grant contacts.
- Facilitate and maintain grant-related community partnerships
- Facilitate/liaison department MindShare/CoBRIS requests/needs.
- Attend appropriate meetings as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business related field. Master’s Degree preferred
Experience: Demonstrated history of receiving local and/or state awards

- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with PowerPoint and experience with Adobe’s Creative Suite a plus
