Position: Contract Billing Auditor Specialist
Department: Administration
Reports To: Field Admin Contract Manager
Salary grade: DOE
FLSA Status: Full Time / Non-Exempt / Hourly
Location: San Antonio, TX
The Contract Billing Auditor Specialist position will conduct audits of billing processes and completed deals to ensure compliance with standard procedures, agreement terms and pricing. Identify areas of improvement, document and notify team members of adjustments needed to increase accuracy and efficiency daily.
Responsibilities
- Thorough audit of completed deals
- Daily invoice audit to confirm accuracy
- Review, investigate and resolve billing discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with documented SOPs
- Document each deal based on audit checklist
- Ensure proper follow-up if needed with additional team members
- Other duties as needed
Experience & Required Skills
- Ideal candidate will offer 3-5 years in Contract Administration, Contract Auditing and/ or Billing Compliance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with a team and independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience using E-Automate and Sales Force preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate strong skills with the following products and technology: Excel, Office, and other Microsoft applications
Education & Certification
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED
- Some College preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Office)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to occasionally stand, stoop, bend, and kneel
- Manual dexterity to use hands and fingers to handle and control computer and telephone keyboards
- Visual acuity to read printed and electronic documents
- Ability to regularly speak clearly so listeners can understand
- Ability to understand the speech of others
- Occasionally lift 10-30 pounds
