(SE) RCC STUDENT AIDE IV (Criminal Justice Field Specialist)

Performs a variety of duties requiring advanced knowledge of subject in support of administrative or academic projects or functions. Requires knowledge of how program/work unit function and fit into the District or College programs. Gathers, integrates and interprets information.
High school diploma/DED and current college enrollment; applicant should have completed at least one full semester of full-time enrollment or two semesters of part-time enrollment. Student applicant should have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, be majoring in Administration of Justice or comparable field or certificate program.
No prior experience required, but student applicants with prior experience in research or with skills in graphic design or graphic arts will have preference.

The basic functions and responsibilities of the job include, but are not limited to:
Career Services and Outreach
1) Create, curate, and maintain a weekly or biweekly job posting board/website/email, including research, content, development, and publication.
2) Assist in building and strengthening relationships with employers and community partners to expand internship and apprenticeship opportunities.
3) Support outreach efforts to students regarding career services, internships, and apprenticeships.
Internship Program Support
1) Provide administrative and research support for the ADJ internship program.
2) Assist with career-related research, data collection, and report preparation.
3) Support the coordination of internship-related activities, including communication with site supervisors and community partners.
Apprenticeship Program Development
1) Contribute research and administrative support to the development of the ADJ Apprenticeship program.
2) Assist in the preparation of proposals and documentation related to the apprenticeship initiative.
3) Attend internship program meetings, apprenticeship program meetings, and advisory committee meetings as needed.

Jobs are only available for RCC students who are enrolled at least 1/2 time and maintain a 2.5 cumulative GPA. RIVERSIDE CITY COLLEGE MUST BE YOUR HOME COLLEGE AND MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE FEDERAL WORK STUDY GRANT FROM THE FAFSA FOR 2026-2027
Flexible schedule, up to 5-8 hours per week (averaged).
Needed during Fall 2026, Winter 2027, and Spring 2027.
