Position Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for daily and routine activities to maintain e-commerce websites and supporting the vision and strategy for achieving business objective and conversion goals.
Essential Functions
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Coordinating digital assets and performing quality checks to maintain digital content archives
- Using marketing platforms to create and implement e-mail campaigns for promotions and stakeholder engagement.
- Testing new tools, technologies, and channels and using SEO tools to optimize searching and responsiveness.
- Maintaining, scheduling, and updating content calendars across brands
- Managing and updating website content and links
- Creating new content for all brands, including photo, video, copy, and digital graphics
- Uploading and organizing assets in shared folders or drive
- Basic copywriting for posts
- Google & Meta Ads management (set up, test, monitor, and create/report on campaigns)
- Building event run-of-show documents and checklists
- Event page setup on Eventbrite or Facebook, and follow-up communication
- Researching promotional and branded merchandise vendors
- Pulling competitive or peer organization content for reference and inspiration
- Monitoring regional news-adjacent story opportunities (investments, announcements, economic wins)
Minimum Qualifications And Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in marketing, Communications, or Digital Media preferred. 2+ years of marketing/content experience, content creation, and social media management. Experience in Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, Eventbrite, and Email marketing platforms required. Knowledge of Nonprofit/economic development and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
