About Flock Foods

Flock Foods is a fast-growing food company committed to bringing innovative, high-quality products to market. We operate at the intersection of culinary creativity and supply chain excellence, and we're looking for sharp, driven professionals to grow with us.

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Associate to support and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment. This role sits at the heart of our operations — managing ERP systems, coordinating inventory, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing, logistics, and production planning.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Management

  • Manage and maintain ERP system data integrity across production and supply chain modules.
  • Input, track, and report on production orders, BOMs, and inventory transactions.
  • Oversee and audit ERP entries to proactively catch and correct data errors before they impact production or reporting.
  • Identify system gaps and work with stakeholders to implement process improvements within the ERP.

Inventory Management & Purchasing

  • Monitor and control raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory levels.
  • Establish and maintain reorder points for packaging materials to ensure uninterrupted production.
  • Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and ERP records.
  • Develop inventory strategies to reduce waste and improve stock accuracy.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize cost and availability.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply.

Logistics

  • Coordinate cross-border shipments between Tijuana and Los Angeles, as well as freight and parcel shipments to customers.
  • Continuously evaluate carriers, routes, and shipping methods to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Develop and maintain production planning schedules aligned with demand forecasts and material availability.
  • Compare planned vs. actual production on an ongoing basis to identify variances and surface errors early.
  • Build and refine processes to systematically catch planning and production discrepancies before they escalate.
  • Analyze forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments to minimize risk of stockouts or overstock.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) in a production context.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, production planning, and procurement processes.
  • Experience with cross-border logistics between Mexico and the United States is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written) — bilingual communication is essential for this role.
  • Based in Tijuana with the ability and willingness to travel to Los Angeles 2–3 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in the food & beverage or consumer goods industry.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunity to work with a dynamic, entrepreneurial team shaping the future of food.
  • Cross-border exposure with career growth in a fast-scaling company.
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven work culture.

Benefits

  • 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Family leave
  • Health insurance
  • Paid time off
