About the Role
Step into a high-impact leadership role where you'll help driveoperational excellence across one of the client's most complex and dynamicfacilities portfolios. As a CBRE FM Engineering Ops Manager, you will beembedded onsite at the client's U.S. headquarters, a 2 million-square-foot,multi-building campus that includes Class A office space, clean roomenvironments, manufacturing operations, and research laboratories.
In this role, you will oversee and support the team responsible fordelivering engineering, technical, and operational services that ensure thereliability, efficiency, and performance of critical building systems andinfrastructure. You will serve as a key partner to client leadership,engineering teams, and operational stakeholders, helping to lead day-to-dayfacility operations, optimize maintenance programs, and drive continuousimprovement initiatives across this highly sophisticated campus environment.
As part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function, you willplay a critical role in executing preventive maintenance strategies, enhancingoperational performance, and ensuring the safe and compliant operation ofdiverse facility types. Working collaboratively across teams, you'll helpdeliver exceptional service, support key business objectives, and contribute tothe success of a world-class headquarters campus.
What You'll Do
Provideleadership and direct supervision to engineering and operations staff,including performance management, coaching, employee development, successionplanning, and talent acquisition activities.
Leadand coordinate daily team operations by establishing work schedules, assigningpriorities, balancing workloads, and promoting cross-functional training toenhance team effectiveness and continuity.
Set,monitor, and manage individual and team performance goals, project milestones,and departmental deadlines to ensure operational excellence and servicedelivery commitments are met.
Buildand maintain strong relationships with clients, business partners, vendors, andkey stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and escalation point foroperational matters.
Managedepartmental or business unit financial performance, including budgeting,forecasting, expense management, and profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
Developand implement strategic goals, initiatives, and continuous improvement effortsthat support operational objectives and enhance service delivery.
Partnerwith leadership to drive the execution of company programs, policies, andinitiatives while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and clientexpectations.
Evaluateoperational processes, procedures, and workflows to identify opportunities forincreased efficiency, improved performance, and risk mitigation.
Ensurebusiness operations are executed in accordance with established policies,procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Maintainoversight of regulatory documentation, compliance records, audits, andreporting requirements to support a safe and compliant operating environment.

What You'll Need
Bachelor'sdegree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience in facilitiesmanagement, engineering operations, or a related field. An equivalentcombination of education and experience will be considered.
Strongtechnical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems,including the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical buildinginfrastructure.
Demonstratedexperience leading large teams in a complex operational environment, includinghiring, employee development, performance management, and retention.
Strongleadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability toinfluence stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and navigate complex situations withsound judgment.
Provenability to manage multiple priorities, drive operational excellence, and leadcontinuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Advancedproficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, andPowerPoint.
Strongorganizational, analytical, and financial management skills, includingexperience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance metrics.
Abilityto build and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, andcross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the FM Engineering Ops Manager position is $175,000 annually and the maximum salary for the FM Engineering Ops Manager position is $185,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
