High School JV Cheer

Immaculate Heart High School is seeking a dedicated and experienced JV Cheer Coach. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated JV Cheer Coach to lead our junior varsity cheerleading team. The ideal candidate will foster school spirit, teamwork, and skill development in a positive and supportive

environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group instruction to enhance player skills, teamwork, and overall performance.
• Support the development of a disciplined and positive team culture that prioritizes sportsmanship, leadership, and academic success.
• Help evaluate players and provide feedback to enhance their growth and development.

Start Date: August 15, 2026

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the high school level.
• Ability to teach fundamental skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to the academic and personal development of students.
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Experience in cheerleading or coaching preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work with student-athletes in a school setting

Wage Range

The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
