This position serves as a member of the District Threat Management Team (DTMT) and plays a critical role in supporting the effective implementation of the Florida Harm Prevention and Threat Management Model across the district.

Position Overview
The District Threat Management Team (DTMT) provides direct support to School-Based Threat Management Teams (SBTMTs) to ensure fidelity to the state-mandated threat management process and compliance with Rule 6A-1.0019, F.A.C.
Primary Responsibilities
Support school-based teams in identifying and responding to students of concern using the Florida Harm Prevention and Threat Management Model
Assist with the comprehensive assessment of reported concerns, including gathering and analyzing relevant behavioral, academic, and social-emotional information
Provide consultation to SBTMTs on appropriate interventions, supports, and Student Support Management Plans (SSMPs)
Promote consistent implementation of threat management protocols and best practices across schools
Collaborate with school administrators, mental health professionals, and law enforcement partners as part of a multidisciplinary approach
Monitor and support ongoing case management to ensure interventions are implemented and adjusted as needed
