What can you expect?

As a Proposal Manager, you will work in Anchorage, AK or within the lower 48 and be responsible for supporting proposal strategies to meet organizational objectives. Personal initiative and critical thinking skills will be essential to complete job duties with minimal guidance. Assignments are deadline driven – this position must be able to set priorities, strictly manage the proposal timeline, take ownership of projects, delegate, work efficiently, and provide a consistent level of high-quality work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

How will you do it?

  • In conjunction with the Senior Proposal Manager and Directors, work with Capture Managers to develop proposal strategies/win theme, perform complete proposal management, technical writing, proposal layout, RFP compliance, reviews and revisions, and production of high-quality, compliant final documents for submission.
  • Lead and/or support the overall process for the development of proposals with an infrastructure that includes proposal process integration through templates, source material, qualification write-ups, and production.
  • Establish, communicate and manage the proposal development and production schedule; maintaining and publishing to the proposal team an updated schedule as adjustments/amendments are made.
  • Coordinate all proposal phases, activities and milestones including tracking, kick-off meetings, team meetings, data calls, and proposal reviews.
  • Review proposals daily and work with writers to achieve their respective content on time.
  • Manage “Sources Sought” and “Statement of Qualifications” submissions.
  • Support project teams with technical writing as needed.
  • Collaborate with various groups within Calista, Calista Brice and multiple client organizations.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Perform other duties as directed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to deal effectively with a variety of interpersonal relationships and situations and maintain positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Ability to conduct oneself with confidence and professionalism under high pressure conditions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years in federal proposal development including experience with federal RFP structures and SF330 formats.
  • Experience in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point and SharePoint) and Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Technical writing and editing experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
