Our client is a privately held, family-owned commercial services company headquartered in the Chicago suburbs, partnering with nationally recognized multi-unit brands. They're investing in their marketing function and looking for a hands-on Marketing Manager to own brand, content, campaigns, and sales support in a high-visibility, cross-functional role. Your ideas will be seen and your impact felt.
Responsibilities
- Manage brand consistency across digital and physical touchpoints
- Design and produce sales collateral, presentations, and educational materials for clients and partners
- Develop and execute email campaigns, direct mail, and an expert-led content series
- Manage the company website — landing pages, content updates, and SEO
- Own social media content and community engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Support the Sales team with market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning
- Track new business development activity and monitor cost-of-acquisition metrics
- Maintain CRM contact lists and campaign data
- Pitch editorial content to trade and industry publications
- Manage end-to-end event logistics: registration, travel, exhibits, and giveaways
- Foster relationships with trade organizations and vendor partners
- Collaborate with HR/People on employer branding and recruitment marketing
- Manage external vendors (web, apparel, social media, etc.)
- Source branded apparel, signage, and materials for events and campaigns
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of B2B or commercial services marketing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Canva or a comparable design tool (required)
- Familiarity with a CMS, email marketing platform, and CRM (HubSpot a plus)
- Natural eye for design and a strong instinct for brand consistency
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
- Team player comfortable working across departments
- Experience with trade show/event marketing, photography, or editorial pitching is a plus
