Essential Functions
- Plans and organizes academic support services: manages peer tutoring program; offers academic support workshops; develops a master schedule of academic support programs.
- Plans activities to encourage engagement with faculty and team members. Coordinates academic advising; fosters communications between students and their instructors; fosters successful transition to the college; and plans programs and services to best meet individual student's needs.
- Plans activities and services to promote graduation and placement: coordinates activities to ensure student success; tracks success indicators; coordinates placement activities and programs to explore career opportunities.
- Develops policies and procedures to meet regulatory and operational needs of the admissions functions and the college.
- Plans and submits annual budget request.
Physical Requirements
Works in office environment with some travel. Requires walking (15%); standing and bending for filing (20%); and sitting-driving, telephone, personal counseling, and typing-(65%). Responsible for working in a safe manner.
Education, Experience and Certifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field required. Master's Degree preferred. Experience in higher education and student services preferred. Excellent communication, computer, and organization and time management skills required.
