Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience in airframe structure design
- Experience with CATIA V5
- Experience with 2D Drafting and 3D modeling of detail parts, assemblies, and GD&T
- Experience with Bill of Materials and drawing structure
- Experience with metallic design
- Experience with aircraft structural repairs
You will be the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3 for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for advancing aircraft structural solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3 you will be responsible for delivering innovative structural designs that meet rigorous performance and safety standards.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Create and modify primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents.
- Develop, test, and validate aircraft structural designs.
- Generate system requirements, conduct trade studies, draft statements of work, and prepare test plans.
- Coordinate with internal Integrated Product Teams and interact with external IPTs and suppliers.
