Position Summary
The Analyst, Operations Insights is responsible for supporting strategic decision making for Levi’s Stadium and associated events. The role will play a critical role in Stadium Operations’ use and understanding of data both on a day-to-day basis and across various strategic initiatives. The Analyst will assist in driving stakeholder meetings, designing reporting dashboards, providing actionable insights and solutions to complex business challenges, conducting advanced business analysis, and overseeing project implementation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and support Stadium Operations analytics capabilities, focusing on pre-event, in-event, and post-event reporting.
- Gather business requirements and design SOPs (standard operating procedures) for data collection and analytics for stadium events.
- Translate data into actionable insights and collaborate with stakeholders to improve fan experience. Track event readiness metrics and lead post-event performance debriefs.
- Query and analyze complex, high-volume data sets, generating ad hoc and ongoing reports to inform business decisions on stadium operations, event sales, in-venue retail, concessions, CapEx projects, and more.
- Build high quality data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for organization-wide use, including executive management.
- Support Stadium Operations annual goal-setting and 5-year strategic planning. Partner with vertical leaders to evaluate performance against defined KPIs.
- Develop benchmark reporting against peer venues, collaborate with NFL to understand league-wide operations trends, and survey stadium market to understand new developments in peer venues.
- Support analytics coordination between the San Francisco 49ers, E15, Levy, and Fanatics, aligning on hospitality and fan experience strategy.
- Assist in building financial and analytical models to further business performance. Analyze ROI and IRR of CapEx Projects driven by 49ers and Levi’s Stadium partnerships.
- Support the development of stadium and event-related surveys, in coordination with the Performance Marketing department, measure fan satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze day-to-day operations data across stadium functions (staffing, SLAs, etc.) to identify inefficiencies and operational gaps. Track vendor contracts and analyze vendor performance against SLAs.
- Contribute tocross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and fan experience, as well as drive 49ers local business growth.
- Develop and lead presentations to present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Abilities and Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, while balancing and prioritizing multiple or competing tasks.
- Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and impartial manner. Able to communicate confidently and competently to all types of audiences (including senior leadership, executive level stakeholders, external vendors, and local government) within a variety of delivery methods.

- Ability to break down and review complex information, including large unstructured datasets.
Education and Experience
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in data analytics, business strategy/analytics, management consulting, project management, financial strategy, or as an analyst leading a team is a plus.
- Strong proficiency working with a data warehouse and querying data using SQL.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau is preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word or Google Suite including Sheets, Slides, Docs.
- Experience with data analytics or automation software (Python, R) a plus.
