Homecare Billing Specialist

InterMed Homecare is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Homecare Billing Specialist to join our growing team in Roswell, GA. If you have a passion for accurate billing, a keen eye for detail, and expertise in Georgia Medicaid (GAMMIS) and EVV reconciliation, we want to hear from you!

At InterMed Homecare we provide exceptional homecare services and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly. This role is critical to our success, directly impacting our ability to serve clients across CCSP, SOURCE, and FSC programs, and Private Pay Clients!

What You'll Do

• Manage the end-to-end billing process for Georgia Medicaid (CCSP, SOURCE, SFC) and Private Pay clients.

• Submit claims accurately and efficiently through the GAMMIS portal.

• Perform daily Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Proactively manage accounts receivable (A/R) to minimize aging balances and maximize collections.

• Research and resolve claim denials, submitting appeals as necessary.

• Ensure strict adherence to all Georgia Medicaid billing regulations and HIPAA guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience (5+ years) in homecare or medical billing, with a strong focus on Georgia Medicaid.

• Expert-level proficiency with the GAMMIS portal and various EVV systems (e.g., Alora, CareSmartz360, HHA Exchange).

• In-depth knowledge of HCPCS codes and modifiers relevant to homecare services.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

• Competitive Base Salary: Annually between $45,000 - $58,000, commensurate with experience.
