Barnes Advisory partners with founders, startups, and emerging brands across strategy, operations, and growth. This role will work directly with founder Brittnee Barnes, supporting both Barnes Advisory and Vybes while helping launch an exciting new venture currently in development.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly organized Executive Assistant / Personal Assistant to become a trusted extension of the founder.

This role combines executive support, operational coordination, project management, and personal assistance. Every day is different, and the ideal candidate enjoys solving problems before they're problems.

You'll have direct exposure to startup operations, brand launches, live events, content creation, and the day-to-day realities of building businesses from the ground up.

Responsibilities

Executive Support

  • Calendar ownership and meeting coordination
  • Travel planning and itinerary management
  • Inbox organization and administrative support
  • Presentation and document preparation
  • General operational support across multiple businesses

Business Operations

  • Coordination for Vybes events and activations
  • Support for new business launches and special projects
  • Vendor communication and scheduling
  • Photoshoot and production logistics
  • Keeping projects organized and moving forward

Personal Assistant Support

  • Personal scheduling and appointments
  • Household and home logistics
  • Travel reservations and restaurant bookings
  • Local errands and miscellaneous coordination
  • Helping ensure day-to-day life runs efficiently

Content & Administration Support

  • Assisting with content planning and scheduling
  • Organizing marketing timelines
  • Light research and project coordination
  • Miscellaneous founder support as priorities evolve

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who

  • Lives in Los Angeles and has reliable transportation (required)
  • Has previous Executive Assistant and/or Personal Assistant experience
  • Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
  • Naturally anticipates needs rather than waits for direction
  • Is comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Has outstanding communication skills
  • Is resourceful, trustworthy, and highly dependable
  • Maintains professionalism and discretion at all times
  • Enjoys startup environments where every day is different

Growth Opportunity

This role will begin as a part-time position (approximately 15–20 hours per week), with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the businesses continue to expand.

Compensation

$25–30/hour, depending on experience.
