The Role

The Social Media Manager runs MAC’s channels day-to-day. You own the posting, the packaging, the captions, DM’s, and the comment section across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. You pull a steady stream of content out of our talent, creators, and community, along with proactively creating on the brand’s behalf.

You work hand in hand with our Content Director, who shoots and edits, and with our creator agency. We operate like a creator: cut-downs, comments, replies, and always-on content. You are the voice in the comments and build the schedule.

You are also out in the community, at gyms, retail, events, and fight week, building real relationships and a monster community around the brand.

This is a small team, so you’ll do a lot with real ownership of social.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the daily posting calendar and post across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, built for each platform.
  • Write the hooks, captions, and copy in MAC’s voice.
  • Own the inbound. Run the comment section, DMs, and community channels, reply fast, and grow the community that shows up for every drop.
  • Be out in the community. Turn real-world moments into content and relationships.
  • Work hand in hand with our creators. Brief them, feed them ideas, and keep them posting.
  • Jump on trends, memes, and fight-week moments as they happen, including nights and weekends around big events.
  • Feed the content pipeline. Spot the moments worth clipping and get them to the Content Director and the agency fast.
  • Watch the numbers. Non-follower reach, saves, shares, and watch time, and steer the next post off the data, not the follower count.
  • Work with our digital marketing arm running Meta, TikTok, email, SMS, and TikTok Shop, so organic feeds and paid and retail.
  • Edit and clip when a moment cannot wait.

Who You Are

  • A social-native operator first. You live on TikTok, Meta, and YouTube and you know what performs.
  • 1 to 5 years running brand or creator social, ideally from the creator world more than a traditional brand.
  • A sharp writer with a real feel for hooks, comments, and culture.
  • Deep in the fight, gym, and streamer worlds. You breathe this energy and you are exactly who we built this for.
  • Fast, reactive, and always on. You post around fight nights and pounce on moments the second they happen.
  • An owner. You treat the channels like your own brand, wear many hats, and get it done without being managed.
  • Comfortable reading the numbers and adjusting. You care about real reach over vanity metrics.
  • Available now and ready to move at launch speed.

Ideal Fit

  • Experience building social for an athlete, creator, or culture-led brand.
  • A track record of posts or accounts that broke out, ideally ones you can show us.
  • Comfortable with TikTok Shop, Discord, and community tools.
  • Beverage, CPG, or combat-sports and streamer experience.

The Details

  • Type: 90-day contract at full-time hours, with the plan of extending into a full-time offer.
  • Location: Los Angeles
  • Start: Immediate.
  • Reports to: CMO, working closely with the Content Director.
