Site Head - Cell Therapy CDMO

CDC Global Solutions are partnered with a specialist CDMO operating across cell therapies, viral vectors and plasmid DNA. The business is undergoing an exciting transformation and building out its senior leadership team to drive growth as an independent CDMO.

This is a high-impact executive hire, you'll lead the full site operation, owning P&L, culture, client relationships and strategic direction, while building the leadership team and infrastructure to scale.

What you'll be doing

• Owning overall site performance - P&L, budget, KPIs and long-range planning
• Leading a matrixed organisation across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and support functions
• Create an energising work environment where people can learn and develop, build a career and engage with their co-workers
• Driving operational excellence and regulatory compliance across all site activities
• Acting as the primary executive interface for clients - supporting BD and ensuring delivery expectations are met
• Building and developing senior leadership talent, creating a culture of accountability and high performance, manage KPIs
• Serving as site representative to regulatory agencies, industry groups and key stakeholders
• Leading site expansion projects and contributing to long-term growth strategy

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in a pharma/biotech services or CDMO environment
• Proven P&L ownership and experience managing complex, matrixed organisations
• Deep understanding of GMP regulations and FDA requirements
• Understand business strategies and develop operating processes that enable the commercial strategies to be achieved.
• Elevate the credibility of the site so that clients elicit their expertise.
• Experience in cell therapy, viral vectors, biologics or adjacent modalities
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of client-facing leadership
• A highly accessible leader with a supportive, open management style as well as effective coaching and communication skills
• A hands-on, visible leader who builds trust and drives performance at all levels
