The Role

The Intermediate Customer Support Loss Mitigation Associate is responsible for ensuring all resident accounts receiving rental subsidies are accurately maintained throughout the resident life cycle. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, accuracy, and strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include meeting established performance standards and metrics, completing assigned tasks accurately and on time, and maintaining all required documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures. The Subsidy Accounts Specialist serves as a point of contact for account-related inquiries and works closely with Housing Authorities and on-site business partners to support balance accuracy, credit resolution, and vendor compliance.

The role also supports continuous improvement by identifying opportunities within the subsidy accounts process and providing feedback to leadership. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate subsidy account information throughout the resident life cycle

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all assigned tasks and performance goals

  • Maintain documentation in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Respond to account-related inquiries via phone, email, and other correspondence

  • Coordinate with Housing Authorities and on-site business partners to resolve balance and credit inquiries

  • Monitor and enter data into vendor databases to ensure compliance

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and share feedback with leadership

  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Experience with data entry and Microsoft Excel required

  • Experience working with accounting systems

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • High school diploma or GED required
