The Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG) is seeking an PHIG Operations Support Specialist to work across three complex strategy areas: Workforce Development, Foundational Capabilities, and Data Modernization.��

Responsibilities

  • Assist with complex tasks involved in the implementation and administration of the PHIG grant, a unique, cross cutting funding opportunity that supports all divisions and programs.
  • Organize and maintain official electronic files in MS Teams/SharePoint to ensure information is easy to find and cataloged for reference in the future.
  • Assist with the purchasing and procurement of good and services that support the goals of the PHIG grant.
  • Study and analyze operational procedures and prepare detailed and comprehensive reports of findings and recommendations.
  • Assist a with coordination and communication with other states PHIG teams.�
  • Coordinate the flow of work across PHIG strategy areas and various program within the agency.
  • Track projects through execution and completion elevate issues that need follow up.��
  • Attend conferences and meetings on behalf of the executive leadership team and take notes.�
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Flexibility and comfort working as part of a team and independently in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift.�����
  • Strong understanding of government administration, process, and procedures.
  • Must be comfortable working in SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with JIRA preferred

Education and Experience

  • Education gained through successful completion of at least two years of academic study in an accredited institution of higher education; and
  • Experience gained through employment in a government assisting a high-level official performing complex administrative and supportive tasks involved in the implementation and administration of major projects and programs that had effect on all large divisions, departments or agencies.
