We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Water Resource Recovery (Wastewater) Process Engineer in Southern California to support our regional teams.

As a Water Resource Recovery Engineer in our Irvine, CA office, we'll expect you to:

Working understanding of conventional and advanced processes within the water resource recovery market. This includes experience with liquids (preliminary treatment, primary treatment, biological nutrient removal, etc.) and residuals management (e.g., biosolids processing, digestion, sidestream treatment, etc.).

Have experience with process modeling, hydraulic modeling, and cost estimating.

Contribute and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world class projects including preliminary engineering studies, detailed design, and process optimization.

Work with our global water resource recovery team on cutting-edge research, optimization, and design projects.

Desire to grow within the California market and build strong client relationships to assist with business development.

Work directly with clients on the projects and tasks that you are leading, developing long-term client relationships.

Here's what you'll need

Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related engineering field

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the evaluation, design, and optimization of water resource recovery facilities and related construction activities.

Ideally, you'll also have:

Master’s degree or PhD in Environmental or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering discipline

Professional Engineering (PE) license in California

97,700.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

185,000.00

The base salary range for this position is $97,700.00 to $185,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
