The Sr Human Resources Mgr. leads and directs the HR department and various strategic initiatives. Working closely with the General Manager, various departments and Leadership team. Performs standard generalist tasks, with a hands-on approach and in close collaboration with internal employees, floor staff, managers, operations, compliance; with special attention on the various department needs in employee recruitment and retention. This role is an essential part of the contribution to the success of the overall operations. Duties include:
- Continued rolling out of processes, procedures, trainings and programs to benefit the organizations employees and overall business performance
- Acts as partner to leadership providing business analytics and KPIs and providing recommendations such as on budgeting and for planning
- Oversight of the general areas of HR and staff including compliance, payroll, onboarding and training
- Manages benefits package, vendors and compensation salaries with on-going headcount forecasts
- Experience with an organization comprised of Multi locations and entities
- Knowledge of workman's comp, terminations process, claims or investigations
- Ensures training for supervisors in various areas such as employee performance reviews or discussions, and compliance safety awareness
- Hands on recruitment to generate top talent matching head count additions to various units
- Collaborates with supervisors on employee concerns, development and career retention
- Provides an open door policy for employees with an emphasis on Employee Engagement and Retention, mitigating turnover
- Reviews contracts, vendors and involved in other business relationship selection processes
