Your Role as a Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will support business leaders by analyzing financial performance, developing financial models, preparing reports, and delivering insights that influence strategic decisions across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve forecasting accuracy, evaluate business performance, identify financial opportunities, and support budgeting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data to support strategic business and operational decisions
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
  • Prepare financial reporting packages, KPI dashboards, and performance analysis
  • Assist with annual budgeting and periodic financial forecasts
  • Analyze trends, variances, and key performance indicators to identify business opportunities
  • Support hold/sell analysis, change matrices, and other financial evaluations
  • Research market trends, economic conditions, and industry performance to support financial planning
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and established benchmarks
  • Identify financial risks and recommend opportunities for improved operational efficiency
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis for executive leadership

Our Ideal Candidate for this Role

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of financial analysis experience
  • Real estate, multifamily, commercial real estate, or development industry experience preferred

Skills & Attributes

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
  • Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
  • Passion for continuous improvement and data-driven decision making
