Email Marketing Manager

Our client in the healthcare space is seeking an Email Marketing Manager for a freelance position. This role will be 40 hours per week for 10 weeks with potential to extend or convert to full time. Candidates local to the Minneapolis area who are able to work hybrid onsite 4x per week are highly preferred!

- Serve as an email subject matter expert by defining scope and sizing of work, guiding proof of concept development, and designing, building and deploying email communications

- Ensure all email communications align with best practices, including accessibility and responsive design, while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and standards

- Assist in documenting, testing and deploying Salesforce Marketing Cloud configurations, including the development and management of data extensions, automations and journeys to support campaign execution

- Prepare design files for email development using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign

- Support data model design and implementation through pulling and manipulating Excel-based email lists aligned to audience criteria from the Communications partners

- Debug and resolve bugs; Provide prompt and complete resolution to complex issues, aligning both business and technical considerations

- Measure, analyze, interpret and report email KPIs to inform data-driven optimizations and improve engagement and conversion

- Maintain and evolve email marketing best practices, including deliverability, CAN-SPAM compliance and accessibility standards

- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization

- 5+ years of programming experience specific to building and deploying email marketing campaigns

- 5+ years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Journey Optimizer, coding complex solutions including automations, journeys

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Ampscript and Microsoft office suite including Excel, Outlook

- Knowledge of Advanced programming languages including JS and SQL

- Knowledge and configuration of API integrations

- Excellent project management and implementation skills

This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment. Additionally, drug products may be present in the workplace.
