Marketing Coordinator
Stuart & Company General Contractors has been building in Louisiana since 2003 — starting in the public bid market and growing into one of the region's trusted names in commercial construction. Today we're a multi-division company serving educational, governmental, healthcare, and religious clients, along with libraries, banks, athletic facilities, and office buildings across the Baton Rouge area — plus big box retail work for national chains. In 2023 we launched Stuart Facilities, our facilities maintenance division, and we're expanding our footprint into Texas, Arkansas, and the Gulf Coast. We're in a serious growth phase, and we're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help tell that story.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, do-it-all marketing seat. You'll own our brand presence — website, proposals, social media, and internal/client-facing events — and have real ownership over how Stuart & Company shows up, both to the clients we build for and the people who work here. We're looking for someone creative, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative without waiting to be told what's next.
What You'll Do
Website & Digital Presence
· Keep our website current with completed project updates, photos, and descriptions
· Manage personnel updates and job postings
· Manage all company social media accounts and drive consistent, engaging content
Proposals & Business Development Support
· Research, write, and design project-specific proposal and qualification brochures and presentations for potential clients
Marketing & Communications
· Produce quarterly newsletters and coordinate placement in local publications
· Maintain and grow our customer database
· Develop and coordinate production/mailing of marketing materials
· Build relationships with vendors, customers, and partners on behalf of company leadership
· Set and track marketing goals
Culture & Appreciation
· Plan company meetings and events
· Coordinate company apparel
· Organize milestone gifts and employee recognition
· Coordinate client appreciation efforts, including holiday gifts and client events
What You Bring
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe InDesign, WordPress, and Microsoft Office
· Strong writing and visual design sense
· Self-starter who takes ownership without heavy oversight
· Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
· Experience in construction, AEC, or B2B marketing is a plus but not required
