Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cell Culture Scientist or Associate Scientist to join our growing R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and optimizing mammalian cell culture techniques, supporting the development of novel cell-based assays, and contributing to the advancement of our product pipeline. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment with exposure to cutting-edge technologies in regenerative medicine.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform routine and advanced mammalian cell culture, including primary cells and established cell lines.

· Maintain cell stocks, perform cell banking, isolation, expansion, and ensure sterility and viability of cultures.

· Design and execute experiments related to cell proliferation, differentiation, viability, and function.

· Support assay development and validation for preclinical research.

· Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records, including experimental protocols and results.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biomaterials, bioengineering, and translational science.

· Assist in the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and quality documentation.

· Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and quality standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

· B.S. or M.S. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

· Associate Scientist: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture (industry preferred).

· Scientist: 3–5+ years of relevant experience in a translational, manufacturing, biotech or pharmaceutical setting.

Required Skills

· Proficiency in aseptic technique and routine cell culture practices.

· Experience with cell-based assays (e.g., MTT, flow cytometry, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, microscopy-based assays).

· Understanding of industrial/pharmaceutical applications and practices

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with T cells and/or immunology models.

· Knowledge of bioreactor systems or automated cell culture platforms.

· Familiarity with data analysis software and statical methods.
