Job Title: Intern Architect III/ Architectural Project Manager
Company Overview: Founded in 1984, Studio Southwest Architects is a staple in New Mexico’s sustainable building ecosystem and contributed to award-winning projects including educational facilities, historic restoration, and public and private LEED-certified buildings (check out our portfolio). Our team of ~35 members work collaboratively on projects from inception to completion, contributing to a sense of ownership and expertise in their respective domains. We actively promote cross-disciplinary exposure to various project types, fostering a diverse skill set and a holistic understanding of the architectural process.
Day in the Life: As an architect at Studio SW, you will be an active and valuable member of the team. From project inception all the way through completion, you will engage directly with project managers and clients, shaping input, driving design, and championing sustainability throughout. Additionally, you will receive personalized mentorship that not only supports your capabilities and interests but also sets the stage for growth beyond the boundaries of your internship.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with project teams to contribute to the design and development of architectural projects
• Work on all phases of the project, from conceptual design to construction administration
• Produce high-quality design and construction documents
• Collaborate with other team members and work autonomously to meet project deadlines and objectives
• Demonstrate a commitment to sustainable design principles
Qualifications and preferred skills
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree from NAAB-accredited school
• 3-7 years’ experience in an architectural once AFTER graduation
• Enrolled in AXP
• Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications and preferred skills
• Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree from NAAB-accredited school
• Licensed architect 7+ years’ of related experience
• Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite
