Allegiance Group is proud to partner with a highly respected Design-Build General Contractor to recruit an experienced Superintendent for projects across the Charleston, SC area.

With a diverse project portfolio spanning healthcare, industrial, manufacturing, automotive, multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, and commercial developments, the business continues to deliver landmark projects across the Southeast.

As Superintendent, you'll lead ground-up construction projects from groundbreaking through completion, ensuring every project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and maintain a culture where safety, quality, and teamwork come first.

As a Superintendent you will

  • Lead all site operations from mobilisation through project closeout.
  • Manage Assistant Superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules alongside the Project Management team.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, material deliveries, and site logistics to maximise efficiency.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, punch lists, and project turnover.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with clients, consultants, and trade partners.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges before they impact programme or budget.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, architects, and project stakeholders throughout construction.

You will ideally have

  • 5+ years' experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor.
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Experience within one or more of the following sectors: Commercial, Multifamily, Mixed-Use, Healthcare, Industrial & Manufacturing, or Senior Living.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, site logistics, quality control, and safety management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead multiple trades on site.
  • A commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
