Compliance Coordinator

The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for maintaining regulatory documentation, coordinating product testing, supporting internal audits, and performing administrative duties that support regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule required product testing with licensed laboratories.
- Prepare, document, weigh, tag, and submit product samples in accordance with company procedures and applicable state regulations.
- Monitor the status of laboratory testing and maintain communication with lab personnel.
- Review Certificates of Analysis and lab reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Verify that all testing results meet applicable state regulatory requirements before authorizing product release.
- Maintain and update testing trackers, databases and compliance records.
- Coordinate retest requests and resubmissions when product fails testing or additional analysis is required.
- Track testing timelines to ensure products move efficiently through the manufacturing process.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for laboratory reports, testing records, and regulatory documentation.
- Assist with collecting and filing production, inventory, cleaning, waste, and quality logs.
- Support internal audits and regulatory inspections by preparing and organizing required documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve testing or documentation issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing workflows, recordkeeping, schedules, and administrative processes.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of proprietary company information, regulatory records, and sensitive compliance documentation.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or coursework in science, business administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in cannabis operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, or manufacturing preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Available for on-site operations Monday-Friday.
- Position schedules are driven by operational priorities and production needs; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required is expected.
- Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
- Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and working on a computer
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Ability to get in and out of vehicle and walk up and down stairs during your shift.
- Must be able to stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, bend, kneel, squat, and twist.
