Position Summary

Our Cashiers assist the Front End Manager and Customer Service Lead in executing the store's front-of-house operations, including cashiering, customer service, checkout efficiency, and janitorial tasks. This role ensures a positive shopping experience by maintaining excellent customer service standards, ensuring that common areas are clean and sanitary, and accurately executing cash handling processes. As a main point of customer contact, this position plays a uniquely important role in the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Streamline the customer experience through fast, friendly, and accurate checkouts.
  • Delight customers by exceeding their expectations with best-in-class service.
  • Handle customer concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally and efficiently.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures, including counting down and reconciling tills.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards in checkout and entrance areas.
  • Resolve operational issues quickly to maintain service levels.
  • Coordinate with store leadership to support overall store operations and customer satisfaction goals..

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Relevant industry experience preferred but not required
  • Basic computer, POS, and cash management knowledge
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to make quick, effective decisions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time; bend, and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (coolers, freezers, kitchens)
