Operations Coordinator II

Plays a crucial role in supporting site production operations by coordinating administrative and operational activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring smooth day-to-day site support and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction; As an Operation Coordinator II, you partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive strategic and operational effectiveness, supporting a broad range of site functions, which may include HSE, greenhouse operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, procurement, payroll review, expense management, production orders, and inventory management; Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Operations Coordinator II, are to;

  • Oversee operational activities within the assigned area of responsibility, including but not limited to HSE, greenhouse operations, plant operations, human resources, accounts payable, and procurement, ensuring effective coordination and support across functions;
  • Coordinate community outreach events representing the site, fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders and enhancing the site’s community engagement;
  • Support and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires and departing employees;
  • Review payroll systems and verify that all employee data is accurate by the close of each payroll period, addressing any discrepancies promptly to maintain payroll integrity;
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, leveraging data insights and stakeholder feedback to drive continuous improvement initiatives;
  • Manage accounts payable activities, including vendor data, invoices, payments, and discrepancy resolution, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions;
  • Support the site expense management program and assist employees with expense report completion, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures;
  • Assist with production orders, inventory management, order review, and discrepancy corrections, contributing to efficient and accurate production operations;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, partnering across functions to support overall site performance and operational effectiveness.

WHO YOU ARE

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualification

  • 3 years of relevant experience, OR associate or bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences;
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and detail orientation, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and/or willingness to learn agricultural operations, with a strong customer focus;
  • Ability to quickly connect, analyze, and interpret data, and communicate analytical insights in a clear, precise, and actionable manner;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, collaborating with colleagues across various functions and levels;

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

  • Ability to work extended hours and rotational shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed;
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 60 pounds;
  • Ability to work in a greenhouse environment;
  • Ability to walk on uneven surfaces.

Posting will be available until August 2, 2026.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $53,360.00 - $80,040.00, Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Other benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
