This Systems Engineer Associate Manager role is responsible for leading a Ground Systems (GS) Hardware Engineering team that focuses on ADP Ground Systems products across both production and development phases. Based in Fort Worth, TX, the selected candidate is expected to understand Systems Engineering, Supplier Management, Configuration Management, and have the ability to provide technical direction to Hardware Engineers in support of program execution priorities.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Workforce planning, development, and retention
- Personnel performance, compensation and promotion planning
- Oversight of cost, technical, schedule across contracts
- Input and oversight for new business capture contract proposals
- Understanding team performance and motivating quality improvement across contracted efforts
- Interfacing with external Lockheed teams to meet commitments
The focus of this role will include technical/program execution (cost, schedule and technical performance) as well as functional L-code responsibilities (employee recruitment, labor planning, performance assessments). This role will support 25% Program Overhead tasks, 75% direct on program tasks, and will report to the current ADP Ground Systems Manager (L5).

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in an STEM discipline
- Experienced in managing suppliers
- Experienced in Configuration Management
Desired Skills
- Experienced with hardware development and production
- Experienced managing complex technical systems and programs
- Experience with ADP Ground Systems products
- Experience with COTS hardware procurement

Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
