Project Architect

General Description: Looking for an opportunity to advance your architectural career? Established in 1994, WPA Architecture is looking for a PROJECT ARCHITECT with a minimum of 6 or more years working in an architect’s office and who is looking to grow their career . We are seeking to expand our firm with individuals who are growth-minded and proactive in looking for an opportunity for a potential future in firm leadership. A professional degree in architecture and an architectural license is preferred.

Experience: 6 or more years of experience

Credentials: Licensed architect or architectural candidate actively pursuing licensure

What to Expect

• Work with different teams on a variety of projects ranging in size from $500,000 to $25 million or more.
• Provide quality architectural services in different building types including resorts, healthcare, higher ed, municipal, multi-family housing and commercial projects.
• Opportunities to direct architectural design, build relationships with clients and develop your technical and design skills in a family-oriented firm environment.
• Be responsible for client relationships that will eventually bring a benefit to the firm.

What You Bring

• While most of our new projects are completed in Revit, our work requires proficiency in developing full Construction Document packages with both Revit & AutoCAD software.
• Someone who can help our firm better embrace sustainability, who understands how to translate designs into clear construction documents, and who will assist in all phases of architectural work, including Construction Administration.
• An excellent communicator who is self-motivated and proactively works with the team and firm principals to advance multiple small to medium sized projects from design to completion.
