*If you want to build, create and be part of a fast-paced, multi-functional and diverse team - this role is for you.*
Nexture Bio is a science-driven nutraceutical startup building the Doselets brand- our buccal nanofiber supplement delivery patches. We move fast, iterate quickly, think rigorously, and care deeply about how our products look and are presented to the world.
We're looking for a part-time, hands-on Design and Communications Coordinator to own the visual identity and day-to-day design and communications execution across brands, products and with partners and customers. This is a part-time role for someone who can hit the ground running — equally comfortable designing a booth, marketing collateral, updating a product page (Squarespace/Wordpress), or managing a content calendar — with minimal hand-holding and a strong eye for quality.
You must be able to work at a fast pace, in layered files, iterate across teams quickly and manage several accounts internally and externally with a high level of accountability. You must be a self-starter, proactive, and be able to deliver on tight deadlines, presenting original ideas.
Responsibilities
Design & Manage Marketing and Communications Collateral
- Design polished marketing materials including brochures, sell sheets, trade show assets, and packaging inserts using approved platforms (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma) or comparable professional design tools.
- Manage print production end-to-end — from initial concept and file prep to submitting press-ready files to print vendors — working from copy and direction provided by leadership
- Ensure all deliverables are consistent with brand standards, print specifications, and timelines
- Work with BD teams to update materials as needed
- Design tables, conference collateral, swag, strategic partner marketing, comms and promo swag/collateral
- Maintain conference calendar and support executive/BD team to prepare materials as needed
- Support new packaging design, proofs and outreach/comms management alongside quality and executive team
Brand Design
- Support an active rebranding initiative both internally (G Drive) and externally, on social media, in physical space, etc., while developing new products and new marketing collateral.
- Brand development and design strategy for outreach, sales, and editorial/social channels.
- Systematically audit and rebrand all existing documents in a Google Drive system — including templates, forms, decks, PDFs, and internal reference materials, brand guidelines — applying updated brand standards throughout.
Branded Templates
- Build and maintain a library of branded templates: letterheads, spreadsheet formats, and presentation decks for each brand, product line, channel, collab, etc.
- Maintain documents up to date and be the POC for internal and partner teams for brand assets
- Work across both Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Applications(Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to ensure consistency regardless of platform
Web Design
- Maintain and update company sites (Squarespace/Wordpress)
- Handle basic product page updates, image swaps, copy revisions, and layout changes proactively and as directed by Sr staff
Social Media Management
- Manage company social media accounts across relevant platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others as appropriate)
- Handle content scheduling, caption writing, community engagement (comments, DMs), and basic performance tracking and prepare reports to share with executive team
- Coordinate with leadership on campaign messaging and brand voice
Administrative Support
Provide general operational support including calendar management, vendor coordination, document filing, data entry, and ad hoc tasks as needed to CEO, Business Development Consultants and Operations/R&D (we are all working adjacent to every task as a small company, so you will be exposed to the whole team!).
Qualifications
Required
- Proficiency in creative suites like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma — you should be able to open a project and work independently, with ownership over deliverables
- Demonstrated experience designing print-ready files (understanding of bleeds, color profiles, file formats, etc.)
- Comfort working in both Google Workspace and Microsoft
- Experience managing business social media accounts (content creation, scheduling, engagement)
- Familiarity with Squarespace or comparable website CMS platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across formats
- Experience working in project-based creative environments with variety of stakeholders and ability to meet deadlines
- Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with product photography (even basic studio or tabletop setup) and post-production
- Bringing photographs into designed assets for broader channel execution
- Exposure to branding or rebranding projects from ideation to execution
- Background in health, wellness, biotech, CPG, or science-adjacent industries
- Video editing experience (Reels, TikToks, short-form)
- Familiarity with Canva or Figma for quick-turnaround assets
- Experience coordinating with print vendors or production houses
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals or e-commerce platforms (Shopify, etc.) and interest in learning more about AEO/GEO

Pay: $25-30/hr, depending on experience
Hours: 20–30 hours/week, fluctuating based on project load and seasonal campaigns
