Construction Safety Coordinator - Richland, WA

Holaday-Parks, Inc. is seeking a motivated Construction Safety Coordinator to support our growing projects throughout the Portland metropolitan area. This is a full-time, on-site position that partners closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture, conduct field inspections, support regulatory compliance, and help ensure every jobsite is operating safely and efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in construction safety while gaining hands-on experience with DOSH, OSHA, Oregon OSHA, mechanical trades risk mitigation, incident investigations, safety training, and mechanical construction operations.

Essential Functions

· Conduct routine jobsite walkthroughs to verify job site safety compliance and identify immediate physical hazards.

· Assist with new hire onboarding and safety training.

· Verify, track, and log daily high-risk work permits, including fall protection plans, hot work, and confined spaces.

· Assist with documenting near-misses or site accidents by taking field photos, gathering witness statements, and organizing files.

· Inspect and monitor personal protective equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, first aid kits, eye wash stations, and other safety equipment.

· Ensure required safety equipment is available, properly maintained, and compliant.

· Travel between active project sites throughout the Portland metropolitan area as needed.

Qualifications and Education

· 1–2 years of hands-on construction field experience preferred.

· Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction card is required. First Aid/CPR certification is highly preferred

· Strong verbal communication skills with the confidence to stop unsafe work practices and talk directly with field crews.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Valid driver's license required.

· Must be able to pass Amazon site background check and pre-employment drug test.

· Must be able to walk long distances over uneven terrain, climb ladders and scaffolding, and stand for extended periods.

· Ability to work outdoors 80% to 90% of time on active construction jobsites with exposure to varying weather conditions, dust, and heavy equipment noise.

Hourly Pay Rate

· $28-$32 + DOE, approximately $60,000–$65,000 annually
