Role Description: The Shipping and Receiving Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Clinton Township, MI. This role oversees daily shipping and receiving operations, including coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, verifying accuracy of orders and documentation, and ensuring proper handling, labeling, and storage of materials and finished goods. The manager schedules and directs shipping/receiving staff, assigns workloads, and monitors performance to maintain safety, efficiency, and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, reconciling discrepancies, maintaining organized warehouse areas, and working closely with production, sales, and purchasing to meet delivery timelines. The role also involves operating or overseeing operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment, enforcing safety protocols, and continuously improving processes and workflows.
