Cape Fear Family Law is seeking a professional, dependable, and highly organized Receptionist / Client Services Coordinator to join our Jacksonville office.
As the first person our clients see and speak with, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming, compassionate, and professional experience. Many of our clients are navigating some of the most difficult times in their lives, and your professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail help set the tone for the exceptional service our firm is known for.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced professional office, thrives on organization, and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and visitors with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
- Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
- Schedule consultations, appointments, and meetings
- Assist attorneys and paralegals with administrative and clerical support
- Scan, organize, file, and maintain legal documents accurately
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and confidential documents
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Assist with general office operations and special administrative projects as needed
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is dependable, proactive, and enjoys helping others while keeping a busy office running smoothly.
Preferred Qualifications
- One or more years of receptionist, administrative assistant, front desk, client service, medical office, banking, legal office, or comparable professional office experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and other common office technology
- Comfortable learning new software and technology
- High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
- Eligible to become a North Carolina Notary Public (firm pays for certification)
Legal experience is a plus, but not required. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.
