OneNet and OCAN billing and collections pertaining to customers, Oklahoma Universal Service Program, federal E-Rate and Healthcare Connect fund. Responsibilities and Duties
- Process daily customer deposits received via check and/or wire transfer.
- Assist in processing new federal E-Rate within the OneNet billing system.
- Process new Oklahoma Universal Service filings along with change requests.
- Process and reconcile monthly payment requests for Oklahoma Universal Service-funded accounts.
- Process billing changes to customer accounts.
- Review and analyze customer accounts.
- Assist in processing account reconciliations for possible refunds and collections on customer accounts.
- Resolve billing disputes.
- Assist with customer inquiries pertaining to federal E-Rate, Healthcare Connect and Oklahoma Universal funding.
- Assist in updating procedures for assigned duties within Accounts Receivables.
- Assist in processing end-of-month invoicing for OneNet and OCAN services.
- Prepare documents for imaging.
- Other similar duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree or two (2) years of work experience in accounts receivable, collections, finance or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Strong working knowledge of Windows, MS Excel, MS Word and databases required. Must possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to perform a variety of duties with attention to detail in a high-volume environment. Must be dependable and able to meet strict deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in finance or collections, including receivables management, preferred. Familiarity with billing databases desired. Experience in funding compliance and billing preferred. Supervision
The employee performs work under the supervision of the Accounts Receivables Manager. Work Hours Agency offices are open to the public from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Monday through Friday. These are the normal office hours for Agency employees. Physical Demands
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Ability to use a computer screen and printed material, to communicate clearly, physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and to perform tasks that may require bending, stooping, and reaching. Must use the proper method to manually handle equipment, including but not limited to dollies, carts, and lift team members.
