Phaxis is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) of a busy and well-established Urology Practice in Lancaster, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN looking to grow in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment with a consistent weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) setting

• Assess patient needs and coordinate individualized care plans

• Triage patients both in person and over the phone

• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions before, during, and after procedures

• Communicate treatment plans, physician instructions, and test results to patients

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique

• Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Educate patients on procedures, recovery, disease prevention, and health management

• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes

• Maintain HIPAA compliance and the highest standards of patient confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Current BLS Certification required

• ACLS Certification preferred

• 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience required

• BSN preferred

• Urology and/or Ambulatory Surgery Center experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
